Health Insurance Reimbursement
The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 and MIGHTY+ MEDIC are often eligible for reimbursement by health insurance providers if:
- A therapy involving cannabis flowers has already been approved.
- A medical prescription is issued for the vaporizer.
Recommended steps:
- Use the full device name and PZN (Pharmazentralnummer) on the medical aid prescription.
- Most insurance providers require a cost estimate from the pharmacy before granting reimbursement.
- Some insurers follow different internal procedures. We recommend contacting the respective health insurance company or pharmacy directly for clarification.
As the manufacturer, we cannot invoice insurance providers directly, but we can provide a cost estimate upon request.
Intended Use
The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 and the MIGHTY+ MEDIC Vaporization Systems are
intended for vaporizing dronabinol (THC) or cannabinoids from hemp
flowers (cannabis and derivatives), generating an aerosol for the
purpose of inhalation.

Please note that our medical vaporizers are not approved for sale in the United States and some other countries.
