Error Codes

At STORZ & BICKEL, we place great importance on the quality and functionality of our devices. Nevertheless, problems may occur in rare cases. To help you better understand the potential issue and take appropriate action, a specific error code is displayed on the VOLCANO HYBRID, MIGHTY+, and VENTY devices.
For the VEAZY and CRAFTY+, error indication is provided via a specific LED signal.

Error Codes VOLCANO HYBRID

The display shows 

  1. Line: "ERR"
  2. Line: Number + letter "r" or "n"

Symbol & general Meaning

  • ERR + r:
    Perform a device reset
     
  • ERR + n:
    Service is required
     
  • BL 000:
    Firmware error

    A firmware update via the app is mandatory.    
    If it fails, please contact our Service Center

 

Possible Error message & the possible Cause/Meaning

  • 01r:
    Error in internal communication
    ► Restart recommended.
     
  • 02r:
    The device is either outside its specified temperature, or internal overheating has ocurred

    ► Switch the device off, unplug the power plug out of the socket and leave the device for min. 30 mins at room temperature without operating it. 

    If the fault continues after 30 mins, contact our Service Center.
     
  • 03r:
    The device is being operated at the incorrect voltage.

    ► Please check which version (115V/230V) of the device you have, and ensure that you are using it at the correct voltage.
     
  • 04n:
    Device is defective.
    ► Please initiate a RMA and send it to our Service Center.

💡Important: If you are unsure about safety and function of your device, contact our Customer Service or initiate an RMA.

Error Codes MIGHTY+ & VENTY
  • ERR 001 / e01:
     Battery temperature too high

    ► Allow device to cool.
     
  • ERR 002 / e02:
    Battery temperature too low

    ► Move to warmer environment (do not use external heat sources).
     
  • EER 003  / e03:
    Incompatible power adapter or USB-C cable

    ► Use only original accessories and S&B adapters.
     
  • EER 004 / e04:
    Vaporizer is faulty

    ► Switch off the Vaporizer immediately.

    ► Pull out the plug.

    ► Contact our Service Center.

 Do not attempt self-repair.

  • ERR 005  / e05:
    User exhaled into the vaporizer

    ► Avoid blowing into the device.
     
  • bl:
    The firmware could not be verified and a firmware update must be performed

    ► Please perform the firmware update. If the update fails multiple times, please contact our Service Center.
