- Do not charge the VEAZY using incompatible or damaged cables and power adapters, as well as external power sources outside of STORZ & BICKEL’s recommended accessories.
- For general charging, a USB charger with 5 VDC / 3 A (15 W) is recommended.
- Verify the power source and ensure the specifications on the type label match your local mains supply.
- Always switch off and disconnect the VEAZY from the mains supply:
► After charging
► When not in use
► Before cleaning or maintenance
► During thunderstorms
- Connect the USB-C Cable supplied to the VEAZY and a suitable USB-C charger.
- Connect to the mains supply.
- The charging process is acknowledged with a short illumination of the LED display (green/red/blue) and a vibration.
- After charging, disconnect the USB-C Cable from the mains supply and then from the VEAZY.
► The VEAZY is charged to 80% in about 40 minutes.
During the charging process, the LED display of your VEAZY shows a flashing or steady blue light, indicating the battery charge status:
- Blue flashing: max. 30 %
- Blue, rapidly blinking: 31–60 %
- Blue, slowly blinling: 61–98 %
- Steady blue light: fully charged
The upper LED of your VEAZY will flash in blue, yellow, or magenta in every 10th flash cycle, depending on the charger used:
- USB-C charger (recommended): blue
- USB-C to USB-A: yellow
- Low power charger: magenta (Charging may take significantly longer.)
LED display overview following switch-off:
- Steady blue light: 64–100 %
- Blue, slowly blinking: 32–63 %
- Blue, rapidly blinking: 1–31 %
- Blue flashing: Battery is depleted
When the charging process is finished (steady blue LED light), first disconnect the USB-C Cable from the mains supply and then from the VEAZY.
In order to maximize your VEAZY’s battery life, you can activate the ECO charging mode via the S&B Web App (Website).
The lower LED flashes green every 10th flash cycle during ECO charging mode.
The upper LED flashes blue, the frequency indicating the battery charge status.
